# Watch Face: Somos Complications for Your Apple Watch
> Add a ready-made Somos watch face from your iPhone, or put Somos complications on any face: your room, its volume, its EQ as bars or LEDs, the sleep timer, favourites, presets, Play/Pause and Next Room.
Somos InControl puts your room one tap from the watch face. The quickest start is a ready-made face with the Somos complications already on it. You can also add any Somos complication to a face you already use.
## Add the Somos watch face
Tap the menu button in the top-left corner, then **Apple Watch** under **Help & Support**.
**Add Infograph face** is there for every Apple Watch. On an Apple Watch Ultra you also get **Add Modular Ultra face**, a face made for the Ultra.
iOS offers to add the face to **My Faces**. Confirm, and it is on your watch with the Somos complications in place.
Before your watch has told Somos which model it is, both buttons show, each labelled with the watches it is for. The buttons are only on an iPhone, because that is where an Apple Watch pairs. If no watch is paired, Somos says **No Apple Watch is paired with this iPhone.**
## The complications
Each complication is made for one shape of slot: round, corner or wide. The face's editor lists the ones that fit the slot you picked.

The EQ complications draw the loaded preset, not the music. They are a picture of the settings, not live audio. Each bar has a small starting height, so the bars stand at different heights even on a flat EQ. Positive values raise them above that.
**Grouped rooms.** When the room is grouped, the volume on the Room, Volume and Now Playing complications is the group's volume.
**No room yet.** Until your iPhone has sent your rooms, a complication shows the Somos icon and **Open Somos**. The volume shows a dash until the watch has read the room's level.
A watch face complication can't press a button by itself. Apple only allows that on iPhone and iPad. So every Somos complication opens the Watch app first. **Play/Pause** and **Presets** act a moment later, once the app has read the room. On a TV room Play/Pause just opens the room, because a TV input has nothing to play or pause.
## Getting back to your rooms
A room opened from a complication is the top screen, with no back arrow. Press the Digital Crown to go straight back to your watch face. To see all your rooms instead, tap **Rooms** in the top-left corner.
## Put a Somos complication on any face
This sends your rooms and their presets to the Watch. See [Apple Watch](/features/apple-watch) if the Watch app isn't installed yet.
Open it once, so the watch has a room to show on the face.
Touch and hold the watch face, then tap **Edit**. Swipe left until you reach **Complications**.
Tap the slot you want. Turn the Digital Crown to **Somos** and choose a complication from the list.
Press the Digital Crown to save, then tap the face to use it. You can also edit faces in the **Watch** app on your iPhone, under **My Faces**.
The older white Somos complications from build 37 are gone. If a slot on your face went blank, pick a Somos complication for it again.
The face keeps up on its own. The complications refresh when the Watch app changes room, loads a preset, changes the volume or sets the sleep timer, and when your iPhone sends new rooms. If the face looks out of date, open Somos on the Watch once.
