# Somos InControl: A Fast, Focused Remote for Sonos®

> Somos InControl is a fast, local-only iOS remote for Sonos® speakers — instant volume, real EQ, presets, home theater setup, music, grouping and a Lock Screen card, with no account required.

Somos InControl is an iPhone and iPad app that gives you a single, focused page for each of your Sonos® rooms. Open it, pick a room, and you're one tap from volume, EQ, sound presets, home theater controls and music — with no login, no cloud round-trip, and no ads getting in the way. It's built for people who want to adjust their sound quickly and get back to whatever they were doing.

## Why Somos InControl?

The official Sonos® app has grown larger and slower over time. Somos InControl is the opposite: one page per room, the controls you actually reach for, and nothing else in the way. Because it works entirely over your local Wi-Fi — never through a cloud server — every control responds instantly and your activity stays on your network.

## What the app does

    A large, responsive slider is always the first thing you see, pinned as you scroll. Tap the speaker icon to mute.

    Bass, treble, loudness and Trueplay in every room. Balance on stereo pairs; surround, height, subwoofer and crossover wherever the hardware exists — no hunting through nested menus.

    Hold a preset to snapshot the room's EQ levels — and, if you tick them, volume, Night Sound, Speech Boost and Loudness. Tap to restore everything at once; Siri knows each preset by name.

## Which Sonos® hardware is supported?

Somos InControl works with Sonos® speakers that support local control on your network — S2 and S1 systems, and more than one system at a time. If a speaker appears in the official Sonos® app on the same Wi-Fi, it will appear here too.

Every room gets **volume, mute, bass, treble, loudness, presets, Trueplay, Status Light, Touch Controls and the Music sheet**. What changes by room type:

If a specific speaker model isn't being discovered, contact the developer through **Support & Feedback** in the app menu with the model name.

## Beta — available on TestFlight

Somos InControl is currently in public beta. You can install it for free via Apple's TestFlight:

TestFlight is Apple's official beta-testing platform. You'll need the free TestFlight app installed on your iPhone or iPad before you can install Somos InControl. The app requires iOS 16.2 or later.
