> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://docs.somosincontrol.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Multiple Sonos® Systems: S1 + S2 and Several Homes > How Somos InControl handles more than one Sonos® system — a split S1 + S2 household, or speakers at a second home — and how to rescan when one goes missing. Most households have a single Sonos® system, and Somos InControl simply shows its rooms. If you have more than one — an older S1 system alongside an S2 system, or Sonos® at a second address — the app keeps each as its own **system** and lets you switch between them from the menu. ## The System section in the menu Open the menu (top-left). Near the top, the **System** section shows: * **One system** — its name and generation (S1 or S2). Press and hold to rename it. * **Several systems** — one row each with the room count; the active one is ticked. Tap another to switch — the room list and bottom tabs change to that system. Press and hold a row to rename it. Below that: * **Add a Home / New S1 or S2 System** — give the system a name (optional, e.g. "Lake House"), make sure your phone is on that system's Wi-Fi, and tap **Scan for System**. Once found, it appears in the switcher. * **Advanced → Rescan My Network** — looks again for systems that didn't show up, for example after a router reboot, or when an S1 system was hiding an S2 one. ## Did we find everything? If discovery finds two systems, or suspects one is missing, the app asks **"Did we find everything?"** after the tour. Answer **No, something's missing** to run a rescan. If a whole system never appears, the [Speakers Not Found questionnaire](https://somosincontrol.com/somos-incontrol/speakers-not-found.html) under **Speaker Checks** in the menu is the fastest way to give the developer what's needed. Every system is controlled over your local Wi-Fi. To control a second home you need to be on that home's network — there is no remote access, by design.
