This tab follows the iPhone manual page for page and only says what is different on Android. Everything it doesn’t mention works as the iPhone page describes, in Android’s own look. The pictures on the iPhone pages are iPhone pictures.
What works the same
Volume
A big volume slider with − / +, mute, and group volume.
Sound Presets
Three presets per room. Tap to load, hold to save or rename.
EQ and Trueplay
Bass, treble, loudness, Trueplay, balance, subwoofer, surround and height, wherever the speaker has them.
Home Theater
TV / Music source, audio-format badge, Night Sound, Speech Boost, the room diagram and assigning surrounds, fronts and the Sub.
Music
Favorites, Playlists, Queue and your music services, played straight to the room.
Rooms and groups
Room tabs on the bottom bar, grouping from any page and saved groups.
Sleep Timer
Choose a room, then Off, 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes. On Android it opens as a dialog instead of a sheet.
Alarms
Add and edit alarms with the time, room and days. Android uses its own time and day editor.
What is different
- Install is through Google Play’s closed test, not TestFlight: First Launch on Android.
- Permissions are Nearby devices and notifications, not Local Network and Bluetooth: Android Permissions.
- The Lock Screen card is a notification, and the widgets are Android widgets: Lock Screen and Widgets.
- Some iPhone features have no Android version yet: What is different on Android.
