What’s on the Music sheet
Pinned volume
The room’s volume slider stays pinned at the top and collapses to a slim bar as you scroll, just like the room page.
Now Playing
Album art, track and artist, with Previous, Play/Pause, Next, Shuffle and Repeat. Play resumes the queue rather than just un-pausing, and Shuffle no longer knocks Repeat off.
TV / Music switch
On soundbars, a TV / Music switch sits below the playback controls. Tap TV to send the bar straight back to the TV input when music took over while the TV was still on.
Sound presets
Three music presets, separate from the room page’s TV presets. These can also capture Music Level and Ambient / Full. See Sound Presets.
EQ & Sound
A collapsible section with the room’s bass, treble, height, subwoofer and loudness for music, plus the two music-only controls below.
Favorites, Playlists and the Queue
Your Sonos® Favorites and Sonos® Playlists appear as tiles — tap one to load it into the queue and start playing. The QUEUE list highlights the current track; tap a track to jump to it, swipe left to remove it, and tap the header to fold the list away.
Music-only surround controls
Rooms with surrounds get two extra controls that only apply to music, matching the Sonos® app’s music-surround settings:- Music Level — how loud the surround speakers play during music. Separate from the Surround level on the room page, which is for TV.
- Ambient / Full — a two-position switch. Full plays the surrounds at full level for music; Ambient keeps them subtle.
Managing favorites
Somos InControl reads your favorites from the Sonos® system — add new ones in the official Sonos® app and they appear here automatically. To remove one, long-press its tile and choose Remove Favorite. This deletes it from your Sonos® system, so it disappears from the official app too.Music playback controls also live on the Live Activity: play/pause, previous and next appear on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island whenever the room is playing music.
